Barnsley 20s & 30s Walking Group

The Barnsley 20s & 30s Walking Group is a specialist subgroup is part of the Barnsley & Penistone Ramblers, aimed at the younger walker. Established late 2009 this is the youngest addition to the Area's walking groups. The Group puts on regular walks every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month and weekly evening walks in the summer months (April to September).

2010 saw the Group take part in the Area 75th birthday celebrations, Get Walking Day, holding a sponsored walk raising funds for the Forget me not Trust, Ramblers and Mountain Rescue and will be taking part in the Festival of Winter Walks.
