The Peak District Green Lane Alliance (PDGLA)

The Alliance has been formed largely to protect and restrict the use of Byways, Bridlepaths, Footpaths and Greenlanes by destructive or damaging influences. This new group is still in its formative state but is looking to attract more groups into their alliance, whose aim is to preserve the Peak District, in a pleasant state, and as a joy for people to visit with a modicum of peace and tranquility.

The Alliance has, so far, been formed by an amalgamation of groups including:-
 
The RA (Ramblers Association)
CPRE (Campaign  for the Protection of Rural England)
FAB (Footpaths and Ancient Byways)
Friends of the Peak District
Rocking the BOAT
BHRA (British Horse Riding Association)
